Storybook Lane
In order to celebrate their 50th Anniversary, Little Golden Books partnered with Disney Consumer Products to develop a shop-in-shop retail experience. The goal was twofold: to ignite nostalgia in their current customers as well as introducing the books to a new generation of consumers.
The concept was to create a fantasy environment of over-sized books and furniture with favorite characters coming to life in 3-D. In addition to key shopping areas, I also included a reading station in the center of the shop with opportunities for young readers to engage with the books.
The signage and graphics were made to be evergreen with additional elements (such as snowflakes and candy canes) that could be easily swapped in during holiday periods.
